Ocean Dawn is a converted Danish Naval ship ideally suited to research, survey and hydrographic duties. She has been converted professionally in 2010 to a high standard both internally and externally, and is capable of many workboat roles due to her flexible working arrangement.

The photo above shows the rear deck area with a 20 ft container fitted which isn't part of the ships inventory as it contains a client's survey equipment. If a container isn't fitted, the vessel has two working areas fore and aft of the bridge and accommodation area.

A smaller 10 ft container can also be fitted on the deck opening up a smaller but useful deck area right in front of the hydraulic A frame.

In addition to the 3.5 tonne hydraulic A frame at the rear, there is also a 1.5 tonne hydaulic knuckle boom crane as well on the aft deck with a roller on the open transom stern.
